Individuals involved in personal injury need an attorney who understands and who can guide them through the complicated maze of their legal worries.
That is where I come in. My name is Chastity McNair, an attorney focusing on advocating for and representing clients that have been injured due to the negligence of others.
While in law school, I participated in the law school’s legal clinic. The legal clinic allowed students to represent individuals under the supervision of a licensed attorney. The clinic provided free legal representation to individuals who could not afford an attorney. This experience allowed me to give back to the community and gain practical experience. During my last semester of law school, I interned for Judge David B. Lewis, who serves on the Oklahoma Court of Criminal Appeals.
I was involved in various organizations and served as treasurer of the Black Law Students Association. While at the University of Oklahoma College of Law, I was awarded a scholarship to study abroad for the summer at Oxford University.
I was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana before moving to Dallas, Texas where I received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University in 2015. After undergrad, I moved to Oklahoma to pursue a law degree and graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2018.
After graduating from law school and taking the Texas bar examination Ms. McNair joined the Chalaki Law team.
“Chastity is an incredibly effective attorney. I was pleased with how responsive she was to my needs, even responding to my emails on the weekend. Our family had a complex legal issue and she made sure our needs were met.”
